Welcome to Funroll. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Funroll Labs (“Funroll”, “we”, “us”), the company behind the Funroll app and website. By creating an account or using Funroll, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. the service
Funroll is a group camera app. One person starts a “roll”, others join and shoot into it, and the photos (“frames”) are hidden until the roll is developed. We may add, change, or remove features while the product is in beta.
2. eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Funroll. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you may only use Funroll with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Funroll you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.
4. your content
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you shoot or upload (“Your Content”). By using Funroll, you give us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to run the service — for example, to develop a roll and show it to the people in that roll.
You’re responsible for Your Content. Don’t shoot or share anything you don’t have the right to, and don’t upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates someone else’s rights or privacy.
5. acceptable use
Don’t use Funroll to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload content that is abusive, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative;
- capture or share images of people without their consent where the law requires it;
- reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the service;
- resell or misuse the service or another user’s content.
We can remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. rolls and developing
A roll’s frames stay hidden until it is developed by the host. Once developed, frames are visible to the people in that roll. Developing is final — a developed roll can’t be un-developed. Treat anything you shoot into a roll as something the whole crew will eventually see.
7. payments
Some features are paid. Prices, plans, and what’s included are shown in the app and may change. Paid features are billed through our payment provider, and any purchase terms shown at checkout also apply. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
8. beta software
Funroll is in public beta. It may have bugs, change without notice, or lose data. Don’t rely on it as your only copy of anything important.
9. termination
You can stop using Funroll any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or misuse the service. Sections that by their nature should survive (like content licence, disclaimers, and liability) continue after termination.
10. disclaimers
Funroll is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Funroll Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost content, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited.
12. changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Funroll grows. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Funroll after changes means you accept them.
13. governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
