This Privacy Policy explains how Funroll Labs (“Funroll”, “we”, “us”) handles your information when you use the Funroll app and website. We keep it short and plain because privacy shouldn’t need a law degree.
1. what we collect
- Account info — things like your name, username, and email or phone number when you sign up.
- Your content — the photos (“frames”) and rolls you shoot, join, or create.
- Usage data — how you use the app (rolls started, features used) and basic device and log information.
- Payment info — if you buy something, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive confirmation of the purchase, not your full card details.
2. how we use it
We use your information to:
- run the core experience — create rolls, hide frames until developing, and reveal them to the right people;
- keep your account secure and prevent abuse;
- fix bugs, understand what’s working, and improve Funroll;
- contact you about your account or important changes.
3. how frames are shared
Frames you shoot into a roll are hidden until the host develops it. Once developed, they’re visible to the people in that roll. We don’t sell your photos, and we don’t make your rolls public.
4. who we share with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run Funroll (for example, hosting and payment processing), under agreements that limit how they use it;
- legal authorities when we’re required to by law.
5. storage and security
We store your data with reputable hosting providers and use reasonable measures to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe. Data may be processed in India or other countries where our providers operate.
6. retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we’re required to keep it by law.
7. your choices
You can access or update your account details in the app, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data. To make a request, email admin@funroll.app.
8. children
Funroll isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.
9. changes
We may update this policy as Funroll evolves. We’ll update the date above and, for material changes, let you know in the app.
