Somewhere along the way, cameras stopped being about the moment and started being about the edit — the retake, the filter, the instant peek, the delete. A night out turned into everyone hunched over a screen instead of living the thing in front of them.
We wanted the disposable camera feeling back. You point, you shoot, and you don’t get to look. Nobody does — not until the roll is done.
how it works
One person starts a roll for the night. Everyone in the crew shoots into the same roll from their own phone. Nobody sees a single frame while the night is happening. When the host drops the roll, it develops all at once — every shot, from every angle, revealed together the next morning.
Everyone shoots. Nobody peeks. That’s the whole thing.

Funroll is built by Funroll Labs, a small team out of Delhi, India. We’re in public beta, shipping fast, and building the app we wanted at every party, trip, and 3am poutine run.
